Sherrie Glasser, PT, MS, Director of Metropolitan Physical Therapy will be the guest lecturer at the Atria in Kew Gardens on December 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Activities Room. She will be speaking on "Standing Strong: A workshop on Osteoporosis," Don't Let Osteoporosis break you down.
Metro Physical Therapy is having our annual clothing drive. Please drop off warm clothes, blankets and coats to the nearest Metro Physical Therapy office. These will be disseminated to the people impacted by hurricane Sandy.
Care Day at the Roslyn Sid Jacobson JCC November 18 9am-2:30pm. There will be speakers and events concerning educating care givers and professionals on how to deal with patients.

ROCKY POINT - Aquatic therapy using a heated salt water pool has brought relief to senior citizens at Metro Physical Therapy in Rocky Point. Dr. Garry Kushnir discusses the therapy and how it develops the health of muscles and joints. Two aquatic therapy patients talk about how the water exercises have improved their health and well-being.
