He received his BS in Kinesiology at SUNY Cortland and his doctorate in physical therapy from Stony Brook University in 2010. He has recently relocated back to his hometown on Long Island, after spending the last 6 years working in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Dr. Wild has an extensive background in sports and orthopedics, specializing in treatment of the athlete. He holds certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist which makes him an expert at bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance. He has worked youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes of the NHL, MLB, NFL, MLS, and Olympics. He is trained in use of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), as well as Rock Tape. He has a special interest in working with overhead athletes, golf performance, and maximizing running efficiency.
Dr. Wild’s style of practice is based on the concept of regional interdependence (RI) which simply stated, is that injury in one area of the body may be driven by an impairment in a seemingly remote area of the body. Comprehensive evaluations based on evaluating the body as a whole, and not isolated body parts, will ensure the quickest path to recovery.
