Sherrie Gasser, PT, MS founded Metro Physical and Aquatic Therapy in 1982.  Since then, Metro has been expanded to include Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Acupuncture with locations in over 4 states.  Sherrie has been a widely known clinician and expert in the profession for over four decades.  Being a widely known clinician and expert in orthopedics, she was one of the first female entrepreneurs of her time, opening a large scale private practice with multiple locations throughout Long Island.  She received her Bachelors in Physical therapy in 1977 from Stonybrook University and then her Master’s in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1982 from the Institute of Graduate Health Sciences in Atlanta Georgia. Sherrie continues to lecture extensively throughout the country sharing her extensive business and professional knowledge and passionately speaks on active aging and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
